Odin Recreation’s commitment to provide world class winter sports opportunities throughout Mesa County is only equaled by our goal to leave positive and lasting contributions on the local community. To that end, Odin Recreation has initiated and or supports the following community projects and businesses helping build a strong winter recreation community

Grand Mesa Nordic Council

Odin Recreation is a proud supporter of the Grand Mesa Nordic Council and it 25 years of dedication to world class nordic skiing a Skyway, Countyline and Ward Lake trial systems.

Grand Valley Nordic Ski Club

Odin Recreation was proud to take the lead in the formation of GVNSC a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing learn to ski, developmental and competitive cross country ski programs for the youth of Mesa County.

Glacier Ice Arena Mural

We are partnering with the Glacier Ice Arena, and Visit GJ?, to bring increased awareness to winter sports on the Grand Mesa. The Mural will stand some 30’ high and 210’ long. We are guessing once, complete, will be the largest mural in Western Colorado. Funds raised in addition to the project costs will be donated equally to GVNSC and the GJ youth hockey programs. KAFM radio

Odin Recreation is a proud underwriter and member of this incredible community radio station. KAFM ‘s Community Affairs Hour explores all aspects of the GJ community from the non profit giving and support programs to bikes and beer all sandwiched between truly phenomenal music programming. Project Odin

Coming in the Fall of 2019 Odin Recreation will launch Project Odin. The effort is designed as a funding vehicle for small projects that promote, support and implement winter sport programs, outdoor winter skills, and winter awareness and education. 50% of all profit from the sale of Project Odin merchandise will go to the selected candidate.
